We gathered as a small group in the Berkshires for our third annual sewing retreat. We stayed at a family residence, Waldtreff, out in Becket, Massachusetts. Amanda, Jessie, Julie, Mauren, Sarah and myself all spent the weekend together crafting. Not everyone sewed but we all had a great time and the time together (and away from spouses & kids) was much appreciated. Amanda, Maureen and Nikki all arrived Thursday evening. Sarah and Jessie arrived Friday. Julie arrived Saturday morning. This was our 2nd year at Waldtreff and I think we got into a rhythm of really knowing the space. This year, our schedules worked best for end of October but I think we'd be better off going earlier in October if possible. Hopefully next year we can plan a date earlier in the month. Things that worked well: Waldtreff finally has high-speed fiber optic internet! YAY!
